First I installed in my desktop and now I bought a new laptop. And I’m gonna use my laptop more than my desktop. If I enter the same key in my laptop. Will my desktop run Kaspersky antivirus and its updates properly?

no i don’t think this is possible
yes thats the nice thing about kaspersky is 3 pices you can use it to three
computers and works updates and everything i use the same on
both of my computers
no it will not run simultaneously on two systems. But you can try uninstalling it from your desktop and run it only on your laptop.
But if you want to run it on both the pc’s without purchasing it you can always try trial resetters.
