I need to install Kaspersky anti-virus, but I cannot delete my trial version of Kaspersky internet security from control panel. the reply was- it may affect my operating system. Everytime I restart my PC (XP Prof) it says- If you were in the middle of something, the info you were working on might be lost.

reboot, hit F8 until you go to safe mode
try to uninstall, if it refuses then go to program files, delete the kaspersky folder, remove the shortcuts from the startmenu and desktop, get a disk utility,im using glary utilities, u can get it from glarysoft.com, its free
clean your registry,and you gud to go
sometimes when u delete the whole folder from program files it refuses,jus delet those that can be deleted, run you registry cleaner and the rest should be deletable

Try when you reboot your computer hold the ctrl key untill you can go into saftey mode then go into computer and uninstall good luck.

you donot perform uninstall ones u installed that software..because microsoft with that software having some link to denied the xp with out license.
