How to prevent a folder from being checked by kaspersky 2011?

How can I prevent Kaspersky from scanning and deleting a file from my PC in any specific folder?

Chosen Answer:

If you’re using KIS 2011 then click on the red K and select settings.
Then click on the fourth (last) icon at the top, the box next to the globe (Detected Threats and Exclusion Rules).
Click on Settings… under Exclusions

EDIT: this was bugging me so i came back. i suggest that when ur yearly subscription runs out for kaspersky. i highly suggest u get trend micro. it’s the absolute best on the market. i’ve recently been hacked.. almost had my computer hijacked and trend micro was the only antivirus that could find this software keylogger. none of the so called “best on the market virus software could find it. but trendmicro could. sorry if too much info.
