what should i do?

Chosen Answer:

You ALWAYS upgrade Kaspersky the same way. You have to get your binaries loaded either from CD or download, then turn off your network. Remove the old copy of Kaspersky. Install the new copy. At some point, it will want to talk to the network to download new signatures. Restore your network connection. That should be pretty much all you need to do.

I used Norton’s 2010 and they offered me a free update to 2011, you may have to pay? I was suprised as you think this may be bull dust?

That’s a old version, make sure you write down your subscription key. Then download the newest version of Kaspersky from Kaspersky. Then unistall your old version. Then install the new version and enter the subscription key. You also can check at the Kaspersky web site and see what they recommend.
