Which one should i buy Eset Nod32 v5 or Kaspersky antivirus 2012?

price of kaspersky is 600 rupees for 1 year 1 pc and Eset has 999 rupees in my country
why Eset is much expensive? i can afford it just tell me which one is better to buy.
i’ve my credit card and i’m gonna buy from official site of these security companies.
i’m not in mood to put free antivirus in my pc.

Chosen Answer:

You should study the tests done to see which is better. Kaspersky was rated product of the year and some of the tests I looked at Kaspersky had quite a bit higher detection.
You can look at detection rates, removal rates and impact on performance.

Both products are good. Kaspersky scores much higher on removal of malware.
It’s better to research it yourself because everyone has their own product that they like and a lot of the better products get a bad rap for no good reason.

    go for avast
    its better than both
    or else avg or avira
don’t waste ur money for these products
i had horrible experience with eset and kaspersky
now i am using avast internet security( even antivirus would serve ur purpose)
    now that’s my opinion

In my opinion, Kaspersky Antivirus 2012 would be better.
    It is cheaper and better.
If you google Top 10 Antivirus, in most of the cases Kaspersky would be at top.

Both are good however Nod32 is lighter.

600 rupees or 999 rupees ? I would not buy an AV, I would use a free AV & pay for malwarebytes, this would be a lot cheaper for you.

Fact – you are more likely to get malware than a virus nowadays.

    Good cheap security suite:

Free AV (Avast or Avira or MSE)
    Free superantispyware
    Paid for malwarebytes
Free PSI (Secunia Personal Software Inspector)
    Windows firewall.

The above won’t cost a lot, real time protection from your free AV & Paid for malwarebytes, a good security suite.

    Kaspersky!

ESET is a very reliable company…in only the malware it finds. It has low detection rates and slows down computers. Kaspersky detects 99.7% of all viruses, while Eset detects 88%. Norton detects 98%. Kaspersky or Norton are your best options.
